Subscription to the KITLV journals is linked to membership of the Learned Society.
Members may choose between a printed edition of the Journal of the Humanities and Social Sciences of Southeast Asia and Oceania / Bijdragen tot de Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde (BKI) or the New West Indian Guide/Nieuwe West-Indische Gids (NWIG) or a 'digital' membership without a printed journal.
All members are entitled to:
• Online access to the digital editions of both KITLV journals
• Use of the KITLV library
• 25% discount on the purchase of one copy of each KITLV publication through the KITLV bookstore
• Alert Service. The Alert Service informs you about special acquisitions, recent publications, workshops and lectures, and other activities at the KITLV, Subscribe
The membership fees in 2009:
•Including a printed edition of the "Bijdragen"
€ 61.50 per year for residents of the Netherlands
€ 67.50 for those resident outside the Netherlands
• Including a printed edition of the "NWIG":
€ 43,- per year for residents of the Netherlands
€ 45,50 for those resident outside the Netherlands
• Digital membership without a printed journal: € 32,- .
Indonesian citizens residing in Indonesia can apply for membership through the KITLV Jakarta Office for a fee of Rp. 100,000 per year.
Membership is only open to individuals.
Institutional subscriptions for Bijdragen are available at € 98,50 in The Netherlands, and € 110,- abroad.
Membership is valid for one year and will be renewed automatically. To terminate membership, inform Ellen Sitinjak: sitinjak@kitlv.nl before January 1.
