Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. It is expected that manuscripts submitted for NWIG have not been published elsewhere and are not under review for possible publication elsewhere.
  2. After an article has appeared in NWIG authors may (partly) republish their text in any way they wish as long as they clearly acknowledge NWIG as its original publisher with the correct citation details.
  3. Authors of accepted manuscripts assign KITLV Press the right to publish and distribute their text both in print and electronically and also to ensure permanent access via its electronic archives.
  4. KITLV Press may change the appearance of the article, both layout and technical format, to ensure consistency and readability for future use in any format yet unknown. Under no circumstance will the content of the article be altered.
  5. The author warrants to KITLV Press that the article is original, does not infringe any existing copyright, and does not infringe the rights of any third party. The author also warrants to us that s/he has full authority to enter into this agreement and that the rights s/he is granting to KITLV Press are done so without breaching any obligations s/he may have.
